Our farm--Telargra is located in Liverpool Range 10km south of Bundella 35km North of Coolah(Click for Map). Here, we have the capacity to manage and care for more than 7,000 cattle at any one time.
Boasting 3830 hectares of prime grazing country and extensive infrastructure, Telargra offers the complete package in a secure +850mm rainfall zone. Through sustainable land and water management practices, Telargra has become a showcase for modern grazing techniques. The extensive expanse of thick native and improved pastures is covered with a blanket of the nutrient rich black and red basalt soils. Scientific management practices have allowed for the re-establishment of native grasses including red grass, danthonia, blue and giant oat grass. Amongst the extensive land-care works is 14km of stock exclusion fencing along Cox’s Creek and Tamalie Creek. The results on Telargra speak for themselves with the enterprise receiving the 2013 Namoi Catchment Management Authority Landcare Primary Producer Award.
